(englisch) This work tries to reflect the journey that we experience with japan. A journey that started in our heads, by looking on japanese Designs, as well as regarding japanese life-style and culture. The mixture of our own imagination with the impressions and knowledge that we gained during a project about Japan symbolically transforms out of the Bauhaus-style and goes on its journey to Japan. A journey finally to happen not only in the virtual but in real space. This Work plays with the different impressions and experiences and as an result tries to show the impact that happens with the collidation of two different imaginations, two different countries, japan and germany. Visualized as a 3D Animation, done in Discreet 3D Studio Max 4.2 and composed in Adobe After Effects 5.0.

(doitsu) Die Arbeit versucht eine Reise wiederzuspiegeln die wir mit Japan erleben. Eine Reise, die zunächst im Kopf stattfindet, durch das Betrachten japanischer Designelemente, ebenso wie japanischer Kultur. Die Mischung unserer Vorstellung mit dem im Projekt über Japan erfahrenen transformiert sich sinnbildlich aus dem Bauhausstil heraus und tritt die Reise nach Japan an. Eine Reise die jetzt auch im realen Raum stattfindet. Die Arbeit spielt mit den gewonnenen Impressioen und versucht dabei den Prozess des Aufeinanderprallens der zwei Vorstellungsräme Japan und Deutschland zu verdeutlichen. Visualisiert als 3D Animation unter Nutzung von Discreet 3D Studuio Max 4.2 und Adobe After Effects 5.0.
